Because of the so many recent changes, it was being speculated if that was a bug or an intentional change by Google.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"normal\">After 24 hours it was reported, some review stars started coming back in the Google search engine results pages. And now it has been confirmed by Google that it was just a bug.<\/p>\n<p class=\"normal\">Moreover, most of the review stars are now once again showing properly in the search results.<\/p>\n<p class=\"normal\">Many bloggers \u2014 and, especially, online businesses \u2014 might have experienced a drop in traffic due this seemingly innocuous bug. If you have been one of the victims of that, you do not have to worry about it anymore.<\/p>\n<p class=\"normal\">Here is the <a href=\"http:\/\/mozcast.com\/features\"><span style=\"color: #1155cc;\">Moz Feature Report Tool<\/span><\/a> that shows us the dip. Moreover, it also shows that things are now coming back to normal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"normal\"><a href=\"https:\/\/improvemysearchranking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Google-Confirms-Review-Stars-Bug.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5497\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5497\" src=\"https:\/\/improvemysearchranking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Google-Confirms-Review-Stars-Bug.png\" alt=\"Google Confirms Review Stars Bug\" width=\"505\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"normal\">Google\u2019s John Mueller confirmed that it was a bug in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=aoL_As2kzRk#t=3409\"><span style=\"color: #1155cc;\">recent Google Hangout video<\/span><\/a>. You can see the confirmation yourself at the 56-minute mark of the video.<\/p>\n<p class=\"normal\">In summary, it was a just a bug and you do not have to worry about it anymore. Most of the review stars have now come back from the oblivion.
