According to a recent announcement by Google, users will receive notifications when a new business listing goes live on Google services, such as Google Search and Google Maps.<\/p>\n

The announcement was made by Allyson Wright, Community Manager, Google My Business.<\/p>\n

In the Google My Business dashboard, the \u201cyour business is on Google\u201d card will be displayed on the right-hand side. The following image serves as an example.<\/p>\n

Users will receive separate notifications if they haven\u2019t signed up for Google My Business.<\/p>\n

According to the announcement by Google, however, not everyone will receive this notification when the business listing goes live. Allyson Wright highlighted two particular scenarios in which there won\u2019t be any notifications:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. If your business accounts have more than 100 listings<\/li>\n
  2. If your user-language preference is not set to \u201cen-US\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Bulk verification accounts currently don\u2019t receive this messaging either.<\/p>\n

    Those who do receive the notification can confirm their listing\u2019s real-time status by clicking on the \u201cyour business is on Google<\/a><\/u>\u201d card. The card also shows the listing\u2019s views in the past 28 days. For further information regarding listings, visit the Insights tab.<\/p>\n

    Users can unsubscribe from the email notification by managing their notifications<\/a><\/u>.<\/p>\n
